Der an diesem Beitrag angefügte Anhang ist entweder nur im eingeloggten Zustand sichtbar oder die Berechtigung Deiner Benutzergruppe ist nicht ausreichend.

Hi Douzeper,
as far as I see you should select the dot "Do Not Redirect www."; - so normally it sould redirect then if www. is not used.
If this doesn't work you can try the .htaccess Code like that
(replace domain.de with your Domain)
Please ensure you only have "RewriteEngine On" once in your .htaccess (not multiple times) and place this rule directly under it. (So its the first rule)

I now have as .htaccess
http://motorhomecraic.com/forum/index.php?mode=portal still works
but now
http://motorhomecraic.com add's the www
- Now I am not sure if it done that before
Does the .htaccess file look ok?

Hmmm I don't know what is exactly relevant for the Portal Plugin so I suggest you drop FragZ (the Portal Author) a little note in his Portal thread about this case so he can tell you what you can modify on the portal-Rule without affecting the function of the Plugin itself. I don't know what maybe happens to the portal plugin if we add another rule changing the portal link itself (or wich parameters maybe get added on the portal sometimes).
